Marie Kilmartin tells us about her experience of hiring Harrop Fold School in Sheffield, via our BookingsGuru lettings service.
What is the nature of the club you run?
We run a Theatre School for children aged 4yrs-18yrs where we provide training every week in all three theatrical disciplines including, singing, acting and dancing. The sessions are run by professionally trained tutors who work within the industry and have a great deal of experience. We regularly hold public performances which allows the children to put all of their training to the test and share what they have learned with their family and friends.
How long have you been hiring school facilities?
We have been hiring facilities at the Harrop Fold School in Salford since January 2019.
Has hiring facilities helped your club to grow?
Definitely – the facilities are brilliant which really supports the children’s training. The rooms look professional when we take any images for our social media and it gives the children a feel of what the facilities would be like should they go onto train at college or university.
Tell us about a special event/occasion for the club?
Annually, the children work towards a performance that is performed in a theatre outside of the school. This term they are developing their technique and will perform to their parents in December in the main hall which is a great space for us to use.
What is your experience of working with Kajima Community?
We’ve had a great experience with the BookingsGuru team. The online system is very efficient and allows us to keep up to date with payments, staff documents and term times which makes both our lives and parents’ lives easier!
